At his political curtain raiser, Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that he is the political descendant of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and he follows the footsteps of founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam. He further said that PPP is the only stand against dictatorship in Pakistan and restated the slogan given by  the founder of PPP, “People are the only source of Power”.

Bilawal recalled the Karsaz incident of 2007 and paid tribute to those who lost their lives in the terrorist attack. “are terrorism, bomb blasts and death alleys invented only for Pakistan Peoples Party” Bilawal questioned.

It was us who painted Rawalpindi red with our blood on the 27 December 2007, it was our Salman Taseer who gave his life fighting extremism “The question is why us” asked Bilawal.

Commenting on dictatorial regimes in Pakistan he said that political patrimony of General Zia take oath in the parliament on the constitution given by PPP. He alleged that the fatal attack on his mother was a combined conspiracy of Musharraf regime and Zia by-products.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and  Imran Khan kept Bilawal occupied during most of his speech. “Kathputli Khan”, he mentioned, is a political drama written in order to derail democracy, marginalize PPP and destabilize Pakistan. “Some of us in Peshwar wanted to give an office to Taliban so that later it can be taken over by ISIS”, Chairman PPP commented.

The visit of Chinese President was cancelled because of all those sitting in Islamabad, Bilawal alleged. “It was Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto who laid the foundations of Pak-China friendship”, he noted.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is also my Prime Minister but I ask “who allowed you to use all the resources of federation just to counter a sit-in at D-Chowk”, Bilawal said.

He dubbed CM Punjab Shehbaz Sharif as leftover of Zia regime and said that the Model Town incident is a testimony to this fact.

‘Metrobus’ was created in an amount which is less then what India used for its Mars mission, “Showbaazy schemes” are nothing but failures and ways to make money, criticised Bilawal.

Karachi, the economic hub of the country, is the birth place of Benazir Bhutto, he said. “When I see Karachi, I see different groups of people involved in a tug of war.”

Questioning the distribution of resources Bilawal said that the population of Karachi is double than that of Lahore, but the number of police and security personnel is less in Karachi.“Karachi is a mega city which deserves more from the federation then what is being given to it”, he observed.

Taking about terrorism in Sindh, Bilawal mentioned slain police officer Chudhary Aslam and said that he won’t let terrorist sabotage Sindh and its government.

MQM is ruling Karachi for over 20 years and today PTI wants to become the MQM of Lahore, but we won’t let that happen, “I call upon MQM to come and work in cooperation with us for the betterment of this city, said Bilawal.

No progress is seen in the health and medical facilities of Sindh, despite this ministry was with MQM for 20 years. “What would you do when Ebola virus hits Sindh”, Bilawal posed a question to MQM.

If Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had continued with the Pak-Iran gas policy of president Zardari, people of Pakistan would not have committed suicide over energy bills.

Bilawal also spoke for the missing person of Baluchistan and said that the media neglects those who walk to Islamabad from Baluchistan to stage their protest, but extensive coverage is given to those doing a concert in Islamabad.

‘Uncle Altaf’ said Bilawal, speaks whatever and whenever he wants, on the other hand there are those who speak of civil disobedience. “You would have been bombed if it was dictatorship in Pakistan”, he added.

Indian media made a fuss when we spoke for the rights of the people of Kashmir. “They hacked our website and burned our pictures” Bilawal said.

“We will not hold the peace process because of Kashmir issue, but it should be resolved according to will and wishes of people of Kashmir, “Kashmir banay ga Pakistan, Bilawal Bhutto ka Ailan”, voiced the young Chairman.

Bilawal pledged  to support Army and personnel engaged in ‘Operation Zarb-e-Azam’. He said that those who are organizing sit-ins in Islamabad should go to Peshwar and fight alongside Pakistan army.

He continued criticizing PTI and said that Khan failed to eliminate corruption from KPK in 90 days. “How to serve the people is the lesson which we give to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf,” said Bilawal.

Punjab government was also not spared, Bilawal observed that Punjab has become a safe haven for terrorists and terrorism. South Punjab is deprived and PPP would give rights to this region. CM Punjab fails to deliver to the people of Punjab, “all I can see in Punjab is Gullu Butt” said Bilawal.

“President Zardari gave the rights and identity to Gilgit-Baltistan, and we will take it to the heights of development”, Bilawal stated.

He also invited leadership of Pakistan Peoples Party in Punjab to attend party convention on 30th November at Bilawal house, Lahore.

“Pakistan is in grave danger and the present government is not competent enough to cope up with the depleting situation of the country, ‘Bhuttoism’ is what Pakistan needs”, said Chairman PPP.

After speaking in length, Bilawal left the stage while slogans could be heard “Agli Bari Phir Zardari” (Zardari next time).
