CJP urges to set aside disagreements

QUETTA: The Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Umar Ata Bandial has urged to set aside disagreement amid the current condition of the country, ARY News reported on Monday.

As per details, Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial said that amid the country’s current condition, the nation needs to unite with the spirit of sacrifice. 

He admired the people of Balochistan saying that they are hardworking but unfortunately the province has been left behind and did not develop. 

The CJP maintained that he tried to take decisions according to the constitution of Pakistan in all the cases he heard so far. He also expressed disappointment over the attitude of the district judiciary.

Furthermore, he encouraged the use of video link in cases that are from far-flung areas of Balochistan as travelling from Quetta to Islamabad is expensive for people of the province.

Earlier, the Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan said, “I am ready to talk to anyone for the sake of the country,”.

PTI chief Imran Khan on Twitter stated that “I can sacrifice anything for the development, interests and democracy of Pakistan.”

The former premier further stated, “I am ready to talk to ‘anyone’ for the sake of the country’s development and interest.
