ISLAMABAD: Police on Monday arrested suspect Mansha Bomb, wanted in land grabbing, murder and attempted murder cases, from the premises of the Supreme Court of Pakistan in Islamabad.

He had reportedly surrendered himself to the top court and was present in a court room for more than four hours. He had submitted a plea seeking protective bail.

Mansha wanted to meet the chief justice, however the latter was busy in a meeting.

He has been transferred to Secretariat Police Station.

DIG Investigation Syed Khurram Ali said the alleged land grabber was arrested on court’s orders.

Last month, the CJP had ordered arrest of Mansha, however, it could not be accomplished.

Mansha said false cases were lodged against him after his son contested election on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf ticket.

Last month, Saqib Nisar took a dig at MNA Malik Karamat Ali Khokhar for allegedly barring Lahore police from arresting the land grabber.
