RAWALPINDI: Former legendary fast bowler of Pakistan Shoaib Akhtar is overwhelmed with joy after becoming a ‘proud papa’ of a baby boy on Monday.
He has thanked Allah (SWT) for having a healthy baby boy and called birth of a human the biggest miracle.
With experiencing fatherly feelings for the first time he wrote on his Twitter account: “Guys, I am ecstatic to share that me and Begum (my lady) have been blessed with a healthy baby boy just now. Oh what a feeling! Thank u Allah Pak.”
“Both, mom and little angel are fine. Getting a human life to this world is surely the biggest miracle. Rawalpindi Express is now a Proud Papa!!!,” he tweeted.

His social media accounts got crammed with congratulations on arrival of the ‘little angel’ in this world. Wishes and congratulations from co-stars and fans started to pour in after he posted this news on his social media accounts.
‘Rawalpindi Express’ would not have yet thought a name for his baby but people have given him so many names like Rawalpindi Express junior, little pindi express, prince and angel.
The star cricketer had tied the knot with Rubab, daughter of Mushtaq Khan Tanoli, a noted businessman belonging to Haripur district on 25th June, 2014.
