LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) leader Zaeem Qadri has sought Imran Khan’s assurance for not disrupting capital city’s routine life in any prospective protest, ARY News reported.
Addressing a press conference here, he said the PM had already announced to form commission to probe Panama Papers revelations.
The Punjab government spokesperson said Supreme Court decision will help clear several names.
It was our take from day one that solution to the current problems doesn’t lie in street agitation, he added.
Qadri said government had assured all stakeholders to cooperate in this regard.
Panama Papers, one of the biggest media leaks in history, consists of 11.5 million documents spanning four decades from Panama-based law firm Mossack Fonseca, shows how some of the world’s most powerful people, including over 200 people from Pakistan, have concealed their money offshore.
Among those named are three of Nawaz’s four children – including daughter Maryam, and sons Hasan and Hussain — with the records showing they owned London real estate through offshore companies administered by the firm.
