KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers Sindh on Wednesday raided a sector of the Mutahida Quami Movement in Orangi Town and recovered a large amount of weapons and ammunition.
A statement by the paramilitary said that they received a tip off after which they conducted the raid in MQM Sector A and recovered the weapons stashed in concealed drawers.
The seized weapons include three SMGs, three 8mm rifles, four 7mm rifles, a 22-bore rifle, 30-bore rifle, repeaters, three 30-bore pistols, three RPG-7, along with 1840 G3 bullets, 12960 SMG, 8250 LMG and other weapon’s bullets.
The statement said that the weapons were allegedly used in target killing which was responsible for worsening law and order situation in the city.
