Two personnel of Frontier Corps (FC) were also killed in a gun battle, a spokesman of FC said.
A key militant commander of an outlawed group was among the militants killed during another search operation in Kalat on Wednesday morning, spokesman said.
The operation will be continued in the area till clearance of all miscreants from the area, the spokesman said.
The slain militant commander was involved in terrorism, kidnapping for ransom and other heinous crimes FC spokesman further said.
Security agencies also seized weapons from the possession of the miscreants, the spokesman added.
