Some political parties had expressed apprehensions and concerns over alleged change in route of economic corridor, hence PM called the All Parties Conference. However, his decision to continue with the programme drew wrath of general public who vent their anger on the social media.
Some reports suggested that MQM leader Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, who was present in the meeting, urged the PM to cut short the gathering and fly Karachi on this critical juncture.
