HUB: At least 35 people were injured when a passenger coach overturned in Hub tehsil of Balochistan’s Lasbela district on Friday morning, ARY News reported.
According to the details, the coach, which was travelling from Quetta to Karachi, skidded near Bella area owing to overspeed. As a result, at least 35 people travelling in the bus, got injured.
Following the accident, rescue teams rushed to the site and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
Rescue sources say, five of the injured are in critical condition.
There was no immediate word as to whether the driver of the vehicle has been arrested or not for reckless driving.
The country has one of the world’s worst records for fatal traffic accidents, blamed on poor condition of roads, badly maintained vehicles and reckless driving.
