Open railway crossing claims lives of three brothers in Vehari

The incident occurred in Pakki More area of Vehari when three young boys were returning from school on a motorcycle.

They collided with incoming Fareed Express as they attempted to cross the track at a open railway crossing. The three brothers were killed on the spot.

The victims were identified as Muhammad Arif, Muhammad Shahid and Muhammad Javed. The dead bodies were sent to Rural Health Centre in Machiwal for postmortem.

There have been several incidents in the area due to non-availability or barrier-less railway crossings resulting in the loss of precious lives.
